I think we saved the best for last in this trip. Its 11pm on our last day and I just had to show my friends the Candy’s restaurant experience.
Since we arrived one hour before they close (they close at 12 midnight), we were almost not accommodated at the restaurant. It took some coaxing from the waitress and she allowed us to sit, but outside the restaurant as they were getting ready to close the inside.
We immediately looked at the menu and ordered whatever looks appetizing.
I odered the last one, the hickory smoked beef ribs and it was just so good! I was happy also with their sweet potato sidings, which was a good alternative to the usual vegetables. Ria and Char were happy with their dishes – salmon and beef salpicao.
Candy’s definitely didn’t disappoint, and it still offers good food at affordable price at P300 – P400 a dish ($6-9)
