Food Trip (The CDO Edition): Bo’s Coffee

Winding down in the city of Cagayan De Oro after a fun and adventure-filled day requires a good coffee shop in the city to relax and have good coversations.

Instead of the usual Starbucks, we opted to have coffee at the local coffee shop, Bo’s Coffee also located in the Limketkai Center, just beside Bigby’s.

Bo’s Coffee is a local coffee shop franchise that could give Starbucks and Coffee Bean a run for its money. It started its first shop in Cebu and it has now branched out to other places in the country, including Metro Manila.

We hung out here on our last night while waiting for our turn at a nearby spa for some foot massages.

I ordered their hot chocolate as I was in the mood for something sweet.

It was actually not sweet at all, unlike other hot chocolate drinks in other coffee stores. I actually enjoyed it because it was more chocolate-y than sugar. At first I was annoyed at how bland it is, and wanted to get some sugar packets but I gave it another try for what it is and I found it addicting.

Bo’s is actually a good place to hang-out as its less crowded that the usual coffee shops. I actually spent time chatting with my officemate Shierlly before when it first opened in Glorietta 4, in Makati.
