It’s the biggest night in music and the celebrities are all decked out in their personal best to honor the top artists in music.
2012 was the year of Adele, who took home six Grammys this year for Album of the Year (for 21), Record of the Year (Rolling in the Deep), Song of the Year (Rolling in the Deep with Paul Epworth), Pop Solo Performance (Someone Like You), Best Vocal Pop Album (21) and Best Short Form Video.
I really enjoyed watching the show as it was all filled with my favorite musicians who were present and performed such as Adele, Chris Brown, Katy Perry, Rihanna, The Foo Fighters, David Guetta, Blake Shelton, Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj and so much more!
There were also performances by old time rockers such as Sir Paul McCarthy, The Beach Boys and Tony Bennett.
But the most touching part was the last minute addition of a special tribute to the late Whitney Houston who passed away the night before. Jennifer Hudson sung a haunting rendition of “I Will Always Love You”. I was actually hoping she was the one to be chosen to sing the Whitney Houston tribute as I think JHud is the closest thing to Whitney as of today.
Aside from good music, it was also a night of glamor and fashion among the celebrities. But this is the Grammys and these are musicians so the fashion was a bit more flamboyant than the other award shows.
My favorite looks:
Taylor Swift
Loved her gown and she looks very regal. I always like how she dresses to flatter her tall and statuesque frame.
Kelly Osbourne
HUGE difference from her Golden Gloves appearance. She also rocked her SAG Awards look as well.
Rihanna
Simple gown yet very sexy.
Carrie Underwood
She’s just so pretty! And she always manages to do right for her choice of clothes.
Paris Hilton
She managed not to look so slutty-white-trash in the ensemble!
The not so great to the bizarre:
Katy Perry
As much as I love Katy, the blue hair has got to go. I was also disappointed with her much frizzier blue hair during her live performance. She looked much better when she visited Manila.
Fergie
Not a fan of the black and see through orange outfit.
Nicki Minaj
The most bizarre of them all!!! I don’t get the Red Riding Hood motif and bringing the Pope. Very costume!
But this has got to be my FAVORITE couple of the night:
Anna V and Adam Levine
Even if Anna’s dress was bordering swimsuit, Adam just stole the show 🙂

Yes, Adam looked very nice last night, Rihanna looked as though she were channeling Farrah Fawcett – also not a bad look, and Nicki Minaj was just confusing from beginning to end, haha.
